The weapons in Multiplayer are those that are used in Singleplayer but they have to be used in a different way. I will tell you what weapons work well in what situations and where you should place shots...! I SUGGEST THAT YOU READ THIS GUIDE; IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!

"Pig Sticker" Combat Knife:

This weapon is actually much better in Multiplayer than in Single! It is definitely one weapon you shouldn't mistake as a bad weapon. The secondary firing mode which is throwing the knife is pretty useless as people never just stand around like in Singleplayer. However, the primary mode is good, not because it is silent, but because it is incredibly powerful! Just go up to someone with a knife in the game and start slashing them; I can guarantee that they'll be pretty surprised and they will probably die! This is because the knife is a rapid fire (well...slash) weapon...so there is no need for reloads. When a person is reloading, just go up to them and slash their upper body or throat and they'll die. When you are close-up, they won't fire a powerful weapon like a slugthrower or rocket because they'll die from the splash damage, so they will have to use a "safe" weapon. If you slash somebody whilst they are shooting you in the chest, you'll probably actually win the fight as the knife does a humongous amount of damage, plus it doesn't have to reload so it is much faster. However if they start shooting in the head, well..., you're pretty dead. In close-combat fights with more than 2 other players killing each other, the knife is also pretty good. They'll be too concerned with somebody who actually has a projectile weapon and won't really care about you...so start slashing them to pieces! It's very difficult for a person with a gun to adjust from firing across the room to close-up very quickly so use this to your advantage and *chop* them down. The best model to use the knife with is Ninja because he is fast, agile, can jump high and is difficult to kill.

"Black Panther" 9mm Handgun:

Only use this if you don't have any other guns left or if you're crap with the knife. This weapon is very weak, and only good if you have just started a new level and everybody else has pistols. However, one good point about this weapon is that when people are retreating and trying to run away from you, just keep on following them whilst hammering bullets at them, they'll drop soon enough. 9 out of 10 people when they are retreating turn their back on their opponent. DON'T do this! Unless you're the most unlucky guy (or gal) in the world and a person from behind you points a Guardian (Heavy Machine Gun) at you, you should face who you are running away from whilst retreating. This is because even when you'll be losing health by them attacking you, you can be firing at them whilst running away; they'll still be losing health and if you escape, you can quickly dispose of them by shooting them once. You can also use this weapon as a medium-distance sniping weapon! It's very quiet compared to big guns and if you shoot them in the head they'll die! I've done this loads of times and people who aren't even aware of me shooting them die straight away. The clips quite small; if you have to reload whilst in a pistol gun-fight you'll drop. You have to strafe whilst using this gun, otherwise you can easily be targeted. Most people who have only had a little experience in action games just stand there firing at somebody. You should move whilst firing (called, or known as "Circle-Strafing") so that whilst killing them, they don't have a good chance of fighting back as you are moving, making it difficult for them to aim! Good with people with lots of armour and Dekker and Mullins are good with pistols, as they have quite good protection and most importantly, are steady when aiming; which is what you need when using a pistol.
